Garden Blogger Bloom Day

Here goes the first Garden Blogger Bloom Day of the season. I would say about half of the spring bloomers are out now. Things I am still waiting on are most primula, some daffodils and species tulips.

    I always find in amazing how with out the aid of photography, we can't truly appreciate the beauty of the garden.

    Awesome pictures. That daffodil is amazing and up until two days ago I would have said I'd never seen one like that before but I spotted the bulbs in the garden centre so they beat you by that much! All the best with the spring garden

    Very pretty. I've got my forsythia blooming too - and pansies and daffodils. My bleeding hearts are being really early and have just started to open their buds. I always love those bleeding hearts.

    You're spring flowers are beautiful. Our flowers here in Az are full bloom too. The desert is amazing this time of year.

    I think I love the early spring blooming flowers the most - because I emotionally need them after a long winter of dark days and cold. The tender fragile beauty offered up by the early blooms is like a spear of sunshine to the soul.

    Beautiful. This is something I can do to practice taking photos of local blooms. I probably won't be able to identify them all, but we'll see.
