Long time, no post.... There is still not much happening in the garden but the weather is starting to improve. I am hoping to get the rest of the garden cleaned up this week, in between the rain. The post on my seedlings is also overdo as well! Until then I am going to share some wildlife photo's I have taken over the last few months:

Amazing pics Dan! Especially the painted turtle.
ReplyDeleteRemarkable photos! Thanks for sharing. But get back in the garden!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos Dan! I have seen the first and the last in just the last two days. We have a pileated woodpecker who regularly visits our stand of tall trees that surround our property and I saw him for the first time this year just a day or two ago. Last night while I was driving home after work I drove right by a lovely bald eagle, sitting perched on a branch by the side of our highway. It is nice to see our local wildlife starting to stir again after a long cold winter!
ReplyDeleteAmazing photos Dan. You're an amazing photog. I sure hope your weather improves so I can see your garden growing again. You've been missed way up north!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. I envy you your rain!
ReplyDeleteSpring does indeed seem to be taking it's time this year. You've taken some amazing photos-I enjoyed them very much!
ReplyDeleteWow those are great bird photos. You must have a great location for bird watching. I've seen the woodpeckers and bald eagles before, but never in a place I could get a photograph, usually while driving.
ReplyDeleteNice pics,I haven't gotten out much to see what's around here. If it isn't raining, it's freezing.
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing pics! The wildlife seems so different from us here in Oz. No kangaroo shots from you though :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Amazing--I love the pictures you took! The wildlife in the Philadelphia area is more along the lines of squirrels, sparrows, and stink bugs. I'll try to get some inspiring shots of those . . . :)
ReplyDeleteI am endlessly jealous of your bald eagle shots. When I was in Alaska last year, I regretted not having a telephoto lens to take advantage of those that I saw.
ReplyDeleteDan,
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed all of these photos. Clean crisp and sharp.
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteFantastic shots! I came over from Annie's Kitchen Garden. I came for gardening but your photography skills are awesome. We don't have anything like those birds around here. Maybe the eagles. We do get some wonderful little hummingbirds right outside our picture window, though.
ReplyDeleteHello all,
ReplyDeleteNice post! Nearly as large as a crow, the Pileated woodpecker is the largest woodpecker in most of North America. Its loud ringing calls and huge, rectangular excavations in dead trees announce its presence in forests across the continent. Thanks for sharing this type of nice idea.....
