A quick update on the veggies: Look for a post on seed starting soon. Onions will be started this week which will kick start the 2011 planting season. I also need to take cuttings and pot-up a few plants under the grow light as well, look for a post on that too. I have not forgot about the seed give away either but have been neglecting to sort my seeds. Must get to that soon!

Will look forward to all of that...Onions, cuttings and more.
ReplyDeleteSmiled when I saw your kitty on the grate. We used to have a large one right over our wood stove furnace and our old dog loved it. Sometimes it got too hot and off she would jump...with a yelp. Made me smile to remember. Thanks for that)))
Boy it looks like she is filling out a bit. She definitely looks very content.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your posts
Such a lovely bloom for the middle of winter. I guess I better not talk about the sun outside and the high of 29 today ...
ReplyDeleteGardeningbren - The cat is rather dog like, kind of strange.
ReplyDeleteRobin - Charlie has gotten some really fluffy fur this winter. You can hardly see skin when you part her coat.
Prue - 29 and sunny, that would be nice! It is only 20c inside the house... -15c outside tonight....
Your kitty is adorable. My friend has a kitty that looks just like that. The kitty's name is "cow kitty". I'm not joking. That's kitty's name. =0)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Our cats do the same thing (but they're also a little dog like).
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful cat!
ReplyDeleteI like the grate! Old timey!
Charlie is a darling! My Sid loves warmth too and will not linger long outside if the temps are below 55 degrees. Seems to be his magic "tolerate it" temp. Looking forward to your seed starting and cutting/rooting out processes!
ReplyDeleteThe cat is soo cute, makes me miss my kitty. :)
ReplyDeleteCats aren't daft are they? Doesn't that flower look exotic? We usuallay get one given for Christmas but not this year.
ReplyDeleteDid you feed the amaryllis. I had two new ones last year - this year they are a bit weedy. One has a flower bud but it doesn't look very strong - the other has just leaves.
ReplyDeletelove the photo of Charlie...
ReplyDeleteAmaryllis is beautiful... :)
Charlie looks so happy :) We have one kittie, Jasmine who loves to sleep right near the wood stove. I don't know how she does it.
ReplyDeleteCats and dogs do like the warmest of spots, don't they? Buddy was laying right in front our our electric fire the other day. I put my hand down to pat him and the heat was uncomfortable! How do they do it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder -- it's definitely time.
ReplyDeleteYour cat is beautiful! So graceful looking.
ReplyDeleteCharlie is beautiful! You were very lucky to find each other.
