Maybe it's the New England weather that doesn't agree with them. Is there a particular variety you like to grow in the fall?Thomashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09303344546714641616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4359929230952480074.post-31654212173374162362009-08-29T12:28:22.309-04:002009-08-29T12:28:22.309-04:00I just bought a cold frame from www.coldframes.com...I just bought a cold frame from www.coldframes.com - can't wait for it to arrive. Your seedlings look terrific and the broccoli looks to be on track to be ready soon.

I direct seeded some lettuce and spinach a few weeks ago and they are up and growing really nicely. In the greenhouse I have a flat of Walla Walla seedlings growing out as well too. Those will go in the garden in early October to overwinter in the garden.kitsapFGhttp://www.modernvictorygarden.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4359929230952480074.post-32630416733042137172009-08-28T21:27:29.554-04:002009-08-28T21:27:29.554-04:00Dan, it's weird that the warm weather season i...Dan, it's weird that the warm weather season is almost over, because it just flew by. Even though it's in the 80's here, I know that fall is coming fast. Just today, I noticed some leaves on one of my plum trees have changed color, and fell to the ground.Jeff Vandiverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07200011426236637927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4359929230952480074.post-29254361147728925402009-08-28T21:01:58.226-04:002009-08-28T21:01:58.226-04:00Fall is looking great, Dan ! I put in some successions of tatsoi and komatsuna today. I still need to get my mache and spinach in. I hope I'm not too late on them. I also hope that the sow bugs and slugs don't eat them to the ground before the get going.Daphne Gouldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17305049560953735881noreply@blogger.com
