  2. Sunny - Yes, unfortunately we still have some white stuff, we got dumped on last week. The next seven days will be above freeze so it should be gone soon.

  4. I saw the labels on your cell packs--that's cheating!
Seriously, nice photos. Creepy as those warm temps are, that must have been nice too.

  6. I'm feeling the "spring" in these pictures! I need to get out and start sowing some cool weather crops myself!

  7. Ribbit - There is a good amount of worms in the raised beds now. They must like my compost :-)

Sally - It has been getting nice and warm in the polytunnel lately. A good sign!

    Eliza - Thanks!

Thomas - Our long range forecast says it will be above freeze for the next 14 days, they should do well if it pans out. Bring on the heat :-)

  8. I am squeamish about bugs but I love finding worms. They symbolize good things for me --thanks for the photo.

  9. Love the photo essay on spring emerging in the garden. Just blogged myself about how much the garden is responding to the increasing sun intensity this past week. It's amazing how you just turn a corner and suddenly you are there.

  10. We are having reasonably sunny days but the nights are still getting down below freezing. Too soon to put much in the soil.

  12. It is snowing right now, but this weekend is promising for us. I think we are supposed to get up to 50F (10C) so that ought to get things to start defrosting.

  13. Your organization skills are inspiring! The spreadsheet, the oh-so-neat cold frame, and organized seed packs. I think that your little worm is even marching in order with everything around him.
